Hope you had a great weekend! I’m still getting caught up on my life here so the weekend was filled with lots of errands and cleaning. Sadly, there is NO crafting to report. 😦 Still, I managed to get away for a bit on Sunday with the lovely Anna to Slow Food Chicago’s Goose Island Pig Extravaganza. (More fun photos from the day here.) The weather was just perfect (clear, sunny and cool, with a waft of an autumn breeze) and we spent a lovely afternoon sampling pork (and other goodies) prepared in a myriad of ways, accompanied by (several) Goose Island beers. I promptly went home and took a pork and beer induced nap, followed by an early bedtime. I woke up this morning refreshed, rejuvenated, and ready to tackle another work week. That is the mark of a successful weekend, no?
