things forgotten

good fortune

In the midst of all this work insanity I’d failed to realize that a) summer is over and b) my two year anniversary in Chicago has come and gone. Two years ago today, I started my current job. It’s harder, more challenging, and more demanding than it’s ever been. I’ve learned a lot (work-wise and otherwise) during this second year but it has also been difficult, hard, and frustrating in many, many ways. For now, I try to take it one day at a time, one hour at a time, and hope that someday (preferably sooner rather than later) that I will look back on this and laugh. So here’s to the start of fall (my favorite season), good fortune, and a better third year.
